I have plenty of starts of sketches that, for whatever reason I just never got back to…. Maybe it was a technique that takes a long time regardless of enjoyment, or I had a lot of ideas I wanted to put down so I just threw down the basic idea and left it at that. During Spring Break I would like to return to some of those and bring the ideas closer to finality…. And of course start some new things. Here’s the one I chose for today. I e already done quite a bit of work on it. Unfortunately I forgot to take a picture when I started, but it was basically that one big cloud and the outline with some shading and texture on part of the castle and rocks.
Now I just have to decide if I’m going to leave it monochrome or add some watercolor.
This started as just a cloud study and I decided to make it a full image.
